Carl Morrow Graduate Scholarship

The Carl Morrow Graduate Scholarship was established by the Conservation Foundation of Missouri Charitable Trust in memory of their long-time chairman. Carl Morrow was a Jefferson City, Missouri, resident, a lifelong sportsman, and a successful businessman. Above all, however, Carl worked to protect Missouri’s natural resources. Even after he retired as the Executive Vice-President of Missouri Power and Light, he continued to serve as the Foundation’s leader and guiding light.

The Foundation’s Carl Morrow Graduate Scholarship is a joint venture with the professional societies in the five different resource areas – i.e., the Missouri chapters of the Wildlife Society, American Fisheries Society, the Society of American Foresters, the Missouri Parks and Recreation Association, and the Show-Me Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society. These groups provide selection committees that pick the recipients in the respective categories. Once selected, the scholarship recipients are notified and each is presented with a check in the amount of $1,000.00.
